Twitter is rolling out to its users the ability to mute posts from people they  are following and are not really interested in hearing from them. The new feature is being added to iPhone and android apps as well as the twitter.com site.This will be a great feature and will allow twitter users to mute those tweeters who send too many tweets that border on spam

When you mute a person you will no longer receive their tweets on your stream. This new feature is rolling out now and will be completed in a couple of weeks time.
